Trying

I am not asking for someone perfect
Because me, myself, is not
But I am asking for someone who’s trying
To live by Your Word in every thing he do

I learned that I need to be specific
And that specification doesn’t need to be easy
Because even the most difficult requirement
Is not impossible, but very possible for You

Specifications doesn’t stop from qualities
Because we need to dig down deeper
He is a believer, not only that
Maybe a speaker, and most of all, a doer
He has The Word in his head
In his heart, but also in his hands

He is not perfect, we are not like You
But just as I am, he is trying - not to disappoint You
Always asking for Your presence to be present
In ev’ry thought we think
Ev’ry word we say
And ev’ry act we do
