You Planted

Here on Earth, in this land, in my life
Your promises, Your words, Your justice lingers
Most of the time, it's like the genre of music we always love
Sometimes, it seems like an echo that surrounds
Every time, or every now and then
Every where, or every here and there

Events will happen out of the blue
Maybe we knew it coming
But maybe we are still unprepared
We will seek for Your answer and wisdom
It will just struck us at the second thought
Or for a hundred ones

You planted hope in my heart
Through Your promises, through Your living word
Now, the seed you planted had grew into faith
Father, water this tree continuously for You planted it on a dry land
Always supply it with the rays of Your light as receiving You is the only activity it does
Without your power and provision, without Your care and love
This tree is nothing, this faith is nothing but a meaningless word
For You are, oh God, the source of everything it needs to stand rooted, stronger, higher and bolder

This land will wait for the tree to bear the fruit You say it will bear
The seed was powerful because it was planted by the God who You say You are
The tree it becomes is a healthy one, for just before it becomes hungry and thirsty,
It is already receiving the water of life and the way of light
And the fruit it will bear will become a living testimony of the dry land where you planted the seed
